The staff were exceptionally welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Had dinner there, great menu choices and the food was fantastic, seriously can't emphasize how much we enjoyed it.

The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a lovely shower and ample toiletries. Although accessing the parking was a bit tricky due to roadworks, the overall ambiance and quality of service outweighed any inconveniences.

The Double Room with Private Bathroom offered a cozy setup, perfect for a couple on a quick getaway. Room Number 1, our favorite, brought a welcoming atmosphere that made the overall experience enjoyable despite minor hiccups.

The room size is a tight fit, and we definitely wouldn’t consider Room Number 2 for another visit. Smells from the kitchen infiltrated both evenings and mornings, which was most noticeable in the corridor. noise from the floor above may disrupt sleep if you’re sensitive to sound, suggesting that opting for a second-floor room could be wiser for increased peace.

The friendly staff welcomed me warmly, always eager to assist. The spacious lounge encouraged relaxation, while the kitchenette provided convenient access to beverages and snacks. Everything was immaculate, and the overall ambiance was wonderfully inviting for seniors.

Meals were delicious, with lots of tasty options. we did notice some noise from people walking above us, which was a bit distracting sometimes. there was a strong cooking smell in the corridor that lingered during mornings and evenings. Despite these small issues, the location was perfect, right in the heart of town with shops and cafes easily accessible. We didn't mind the limited parking access, but it could be tricky for larger vehicles. the hospitality really made our stay enjoyable. Definitely recommending to friends.

But oh dear, the cooking smells were a bit like having a dinner party in the room. And if you fancy a peaceful night's sleep, maybe request a top floor—unless you enjoy the sounds of raucous footsteps!

Solid selection for a city break in Topsham with outstanding value for money. The Dyson fan in the room was a nice surprise as it helped with the cooking smells from the kitchen. Consider asking for a room on a higher floor for less noise.
